The Bexar Street Corridor Townhomes is a partnership of the City of Dallas and East Dallas Community Organization.

Our Mission

The East Dallas Community Organization (EDCO), a certified Community Development Organization (CHDO) of the City of Dallas is committed to the revitalization of identified communities in Dallas through programs which encourage development of leadership, education, community involvement, public safety, infrastructure, community facilities and quality housing opportunities for workforce families.

Purpose

EDCO is a community oriented Development Corporation and builder of quality affordable homes for workforce families and individuals. As a part of the Bexar Street Corridor Development Project, EDCO has the challenge to build and provide twenty-eight (28) quality affordable single family housing units in the Bexar Street community of South Dallas.

This revitalization effort requires strong partnerships with other stakeholders to make this opportunity a successful and positive project for the residents of this community and the City of Dallas.
